creating vista install disk

Okay, so I have downloaded the iso file and tried to burn it onto a DVD with Sonic MyDVD Plus. I created a Data Disc, but when I was done, I was left with the same file that downloaded. What am I doing wrong? Can anyone tell me how to get the file onto a dvd using Sonic?

I am not sure Sonic MYDVD has a built in ISO burner. I could suggest Nero as many people have used it.

Do not create a data disk. Use software that supports "burn from disk image."

Nero will burn iso images, as will Alcohol 120%, Magic ISO etc etc
